THE
EQ Matters FOUNDATION COURSE© is the cornerstone
of your emotional intelligence development or coaching
program. This course teaches what emotions are and
where they come from, what EQ is, and what some of the
competencies are. It is designed to increase you client's
or your own EQ to achieve life work fulfillment.
With the course providing a common vocabulary and familiarity
with concepts, you or your client can focus valuable
development time on action points, process, practice and
feedback. The EQ Foundation Course© is the educational
stage. Behavioral change follows when you or your
client practices EQ competencies in the real world.
For organizational consultants or coaches, EQ coaching
begins when you assess the client’s EQ and start
them on The EQ Foundation Course©. However,
we suggest you first experience the EQ Matters Foundation
Course.
A reasonable expectation for development in EQ is 3-6
months. Therefore, The EQ Foundation Course© is 12
weekly lessons, delivered electronically, weekly refection
and practice assignments, individual and group coaching
sessions to reinforce and optimize learning, and various
assessments including the EQ Map and Action Planning guides.
